For Family Home Evening last week we carved our lovely, home-grown pumpkins from the garden. Nick had the great idea of carving them in Lucy's little swimming pool (to keep the mess contained). It worked great! We had lots of fun, but I just realized that we didn't get any pictures of the carved pumpkins! Now that they have been outside for a week they are kind of scary looking because they have been frozen so many times!

Wow! The one pumpkin looks huge! Did you put an arrow through their heads like Elliott did to ours last year? :) He's a goof. And, I love the picture of the girls reading in the chair. So cute!
So cool that you guys can carve pumpkins from your own garden! Lucy looks SO cute carving hers- she really looks grown up with all the beautiful gold locks! What a cutie! Nick is a smart one, he is- wish we had a little kiddie pool for all the pumpkin guts- that would be nice!
